Collaboration with Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia
By Janet Cochrane
1st December, 2009

ICRT's collaboration with Indonesia deepens with visiting lecture by World Heritage Site researcher

On November 4th we were pleased to welcome Dr Baiquni, from the Tourism Research Centre of Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta , to give a presentation on his research into the World Heritage Site of Komodo National Park, Indonesia. The research fits very well with the programme ICRT’s Janet Cochrane is currently undertaking, and she hopes to visit Komodo herself in mid-2010 as part of the programme. Gadjah Mada is one of Indonesia ’s leading universities, and Leeds Met is enthusiastic about collaborating with them on academic exchanges and research programmes.
