ICRT helping to develop a community performance space
By Maria Alcahuz
29th June, 2009

Knaresborough Castle occupies a prominent position in the centre of this small market town on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.  Owned by the Duchy of Lancaster and managed by Harrogate Borough Council, the castle is a popular destination for both day visitors and tourists, its ruins being complemented by a small museum and some attractive parkland.   Local residents have long wanted to see a replacement for the bandstand that was demolished in the 1950s, and so the town council has commissioned ICRT to prepare a business plan for a new, permanent multi-purpose pavilion that can host concerts and other performing arts events.  More details are available by following the link below.
